Carved Coral Flower Brooch

This delightful brooch has the flower head carved from coral, set with a central small almandine garnet. Using wirework to make the stems of the flower, there is a small turqouise stone set near to the leaf of the flower, which is made from carved gold. This is a truly unique brooch and is exceptional in its craftsmanship. Circa 1870 - 1900.
