A fine and large antique solid silver William IV period cruet frame with cut glass bottles
Standing on four profusely decorated feet in neo classical style with shell motifs and foliate designs
The frame of square form with eight recesses for bottles
The handle with reeded base and having fruited vine decoration
There are eight matched facet cut bottles four of which are silver topped with full hallmarks the others with glass stoppers
All the bottles are period some being replacements and all match well together
The frame has a full set of hallmarks for Sheffield 1836 by the makers SR GC & Co and an armorial crest of a lion rampant
